During the 2024/45 season, Portmarnock AFC mourned the tragic loss of Evan Doyle. Last year the club lost Killian Collins and Martin Keating. We would like to take a moment to remember their contribution to the club and to remind their family, friends and teammates that they will never be forgotten. We would also at this time like to remember former club members, family and friends of current club members who have passed away in recent times. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a n-anamacha.
Evan Doyle Evan was a member of our 2009 squad and loved his football. He was the crossbar champion of PAFC, and he had an encyclopaedic knowledge of the game. His favourite player was Wayne Rooney. He was a bright, gentle soul whose presence brought joy, laughter and light to everyone lucky enough to know him. Our hearts go out to his parents, John & Lorraine, his sister Shauna and all his family and friends.
Killian was a member of our U14 squad and was integral to their successes over the years Killian’s bright smile and personality will be forever missed by all of us in PAFC.
Martin's love of all things PAFC was always abundantly evident, and as Chairman for 5 years, he led the club with passion and drive. Martin loved the mini leagues and the atmosphere it created around Paddy’s Hill.
